Conor Bradley kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Abílio Aveiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özen Baroğlu in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Ermis Panakakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. O.T.E's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GD Almargense the free kick. The supporters of GD Almargense booed when O.T.E was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermis Panakakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Fabian Niedzwiecki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iason Kantimiris made in the 10th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Fotis Papadimas. Stamatis Banasidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Šeško, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Enzo Millot sped through O.T.E's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stamatis Banasidis. After 18 played minutes O.T.E got a freekick which was hit by Özen Baroğlu. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind GD Almargense's goalkeeper Abílio Aveiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Benjamin Šeško notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of O.T.E's Stamatis Banasidis. Stamatis Banasidis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abílio Aveiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özen Baroğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GD Almargense's Benjamin Šeško got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. O.T.E's Stamatis Banasidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Šeško in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to O.T.E getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Arboleda Soberano hit a great ball. Stamatis Banasidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Millot in the 41st minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Stamatis Banasidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Millot, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute Özen Baroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abílio Aveiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Enzo Millot managed to get in a good position for a shot. GD Almargense's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Millot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stamatis Banasidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. GD Almargense made a substitution. Vitor Roque replaced Moussa N'Diaye. GD Almargense's Ricardo Pepi was substituted for Conor Bradley. In the 62nd minute Özen Baroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abílio Aveiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stamatis Banasidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitor Roque in the 66th minute of play. Abílio Aveiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özen Baroğlu in the 67th minute of play. Benjamin Šeško's late challenge caught a O.T.E's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Šeško helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, GD Almargense's Benjamin Šeško got a free kick in the 69th minute. 74 minutes into the match, O.T.E's goalkeeper Stamatis Banasidis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vitor Roque. 78 minutes into the match, O.T.E's Özen Baroğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abílio Aveiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, O.T.E's Stamatis Banasidis got control of the ball when Vitor Roque tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stamatis Banasidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Pepi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Vitor Roque left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GD Almargense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in O.T.E's zone, Vitor Roque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stamatis Banasidis came out of the goal and Vitor Roque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Özen Baroğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ricardo Pepi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. GD Almargense's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
