The corner ended in Rubinho Zanette almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but O.T.E's Stamatis Banasidis did a great save. Sandro Fonseca hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Edinson Gentenaar managed to get in a good position for a shot. JFSP's supporters rose to their feet, but Edinson Gentenaar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stamatis Banasidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 9th minute, but Stamatis Banasidis got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving O.T.E hanging dry this time. JFSP's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rubinho Zanette in the 10th minute. Rubinho Zanette made a great header on JFSP's corner, it was just that O.T.E's Stamatis Banasidis managed to reach the ball for a save. Jeferson Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edinson Gentenaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Stamatis Banasidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeferson Aguiar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Stamatis Banasidis firmly grabbed it by the left post. Iason Kantimiris's late challenge caught a JFSP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iason Kantimiris helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind O.T.E's goalkeeper Stamatis Banasidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Ismael Neiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, Daniel Dalberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeferson Aguiar got free with Stamatis Banasidis in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edinson Gentenaar to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Fotis Papadimas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. O.T.E's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JFSP the free kick. A collision led to O.T.E getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Fotis Papadimas hit a great ball. If Jeferson Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. O.T.E's Stamatis Banasidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Neiva in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, O.T.E's goal looked a bit too open when Edinson Gentenaar came free, but Stamatis Banasidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermis Panakakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Kléberson Laguna made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeferson Aguiar in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stamatis Banasidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of JFSP booed when O.T.E was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arboleda Soberano didn't get a good kick on the ball. JFSP's Edinson Gentenaar got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kléberson Laguna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ermis Panakakis in the 74th minute. In the 78th minute Ismael Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stamatis Banasidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandro Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandro Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sandro Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Stamatis Banasidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamílton Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. JFSP's Kléberson Laguna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özen Baroğlu in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Özen Baroğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 93 played minutes O.T.E got a freekick which was hit by Ermis Panakakis. After 95 played minutes O.T.E got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Fonseca. Rubinho Zanette struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Stamatis Banasidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JFSP. Chants of O.T.E echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as JFSP had held the ball for most of the match.
