The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Panthiseiakos booed when O.T.E was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Niedzwiecki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thrasivoulos Stamatis's late challenge caught a Panthiseiakos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thrasivoulos Stamatis helped the player get up and apologised. O.T.E's Stamatis Banasidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fragiskos Skrekis in the 4th minute of play. Ermis Panakakis kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Stamatis Banasidis made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Fragiskos Skrekis sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute Ermis Panakakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kleanthis Koumentakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Özen Baroğlu put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kleanthis Koumentakis. In the 26th minute Özen Baroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kleanthis Koumentakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Panthiseiakos getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Panagiotis Staramopoulos hit a great ball. Kleanthis Koumentakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özen Baroğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Özen Baroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kleanthis Koumentakis having to interfere. Kleanthis Koumentakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özen Baroğlu in the 40th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Panthiseiakos's goal looked a bit too open when Ermis Panakakis came free, but Kleanthis Koumentakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Ermis Panakakis notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Panthiseiakos's Kleanthis Koumentakis. Kleanthis Koumentakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half O.T.E were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Kleanthis Koumentakis was a little too slow when Ermis Panakakis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-3. Theofilos Chronatos hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Stamatis Banasidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fragiskos Skrekis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, O.T.E's 盛世 Le Parc got a free kick in the 64th minute. Stamatis Banasidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themos Papoulis in the 69th minute of the match. Kleanthis Koumentakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ermis Panakakis in the 70th minute. With his leg Kleanthis Koumentakis managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when O.T.E's Özen Baroğlu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Panthiseiakos's goalkeeper Kleanthis Koumentakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arboleda Soberano hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Panagiotis Staramopoulos lost his temper 86 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 87th match minute, Panthiseiakos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panagiotis Staramopoulos to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Panthiseiakos's zone, Fabian Niedzwiecki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kleanthis Koumentakis came out of the goal and Fabian Niedzwiecki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, O.T.E's Theofilos Chronatos got a free kick in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anestis Bakogiannis in the 94th minute of play forced O.T.E's goalkeeper Stamatis Banasidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Panthiseiakos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching O.T.E's performance. The match ended with a win for O.T.E.
