After 8 minutes, Alfonso Parot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zorros del Desierto and the The Northmen Army players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alfonso Parot hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the game, The Northmen Army's Hjalmar Håkansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radomil Bucyki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 17th minute Christian Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomil Bucyki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radomil Bucyki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roy Gustavsson made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Hao Yuan Guang. After 25 played minutes The Northmen Army got a freekick which was hit by Christian Olofsson. The supporters of The Northmen Army booed when Zorros del Desierto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radomil Bucyki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Olofsson in the 30th minute of the match. Radomil Bucyki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hao Yuan Guang in the 32nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Zorros del Desierto's Carlos José Vega slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robin Bäckström. That made the score 2-1 after 34 minutes of play. Rui Shantala scored 3-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robin Bäckström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the game, Carlos José Vega recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Robin Bäckström. Carlos José Vega showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Zorros del Desierto's Radomil Bucyki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hu Zhen Di in the 44th minute of play. Carlos José Vega could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Robin Bäckström made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Radomil Bucyki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kiko Zimbo in the 74th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hao Yuan Guang in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radomil Bucyki saved Zorros del Desierto from getting behind. After having played for 77 minutes, Chiquito Escalante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zorros del Desierto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chiquito Escalante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patxi Claude sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patxi Claude took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robin Bäckström. Robin Bäckström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. The supporters of Zorros del Desierto booed when The Northmen Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hjalmar Håkansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radomil Bucyki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kiko Zimbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Zorros del Desierto's Radomil Bucyki got control of the ball when Teobald Polakowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zorros del Desierto's Rui Shantala got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Zorros del Desierto were victorious despite being under pressure from The Northmen Army for much of the match.
