The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andreas Hult kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 4th match minute, Kattvik kings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Alebeck to maneuver through the defense. Linus Stenström hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Călin Pătrășconiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GoalHunters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Kattvik kings's Kristoffer Nordin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panait Vişoiu in the 14th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Călin Pătrășconiu made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kattvik kings's Kristoffer Nordin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Kattvik kings's goal looked a bit too open when Radomil Gotfryd came free, but Kristoffer Nordin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristoffer Nordin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Vişoiu in the 21st minute of play. Kattvik kings's Kristoffer Nordin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Călin Pătrășconiu in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kattvik kings's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vintilă Vâtcu was slow to take the kick. During this time GoalHunters's players had a chance to rest. Vintilă Vâtcu made a great header on GoalHunters's corner, it was just that Kattvik kings's Kristoffer Nordin managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 31st minute Panait Vişoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristoffer Nordin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute of the match GoalHunters got a corner. Kattvik kings's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vintilă Vâtcu ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 40th minute of the match, Panait Vişoiu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kristoffer Nordin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 41 played minutes Kattvik kings got a freekick which was hit by Roger Söder. After 46 minutes, Santos Cordaryal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GoalHunters and the Kattvik kings players grew even worse after the yellow card. Santos Cordaryal kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Călin Pătrășconiu was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Octav Stoicescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristoffer Nordin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 played minutes GoalHunters got a freekick which was hit by Xiao Jing Fan. Kristoffer Nordin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Stoicescu in the 57th minute of the match. After having played for 65 minutes, Panait Vişoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GoalHunters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panait Vişoiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Kattvik kings getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Rickard Ennegren hit a great ball. Kristoffer Nordin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Călin Pătrășconiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Söder hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute of the match Vintilă Vâtcu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kristoffer Nordin skillfully saved the ball. Radomil Gotfryd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Kristoffer Nordin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Kattvik kings defense, Călin Pătrășconiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristoffer Nordin. The Kattvik kings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristoffer Nordin should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the game, Călin Pătrășconiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Kristoffer Nordin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kristoffer Nordin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Vişoiu in the 90th minute of play.
