La Cimas came out of the goal and Fred Valencia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La Cimas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Valencia, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. A collision led to Zurdo FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Cornelio Ongile hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Zurdo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Valencia came free, but La Cimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zurdo FC's La Cimas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Valencia in the 12th minute of play. Edmundo Dos Santos scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alisson Goycochea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. La Cimas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Fred Valencia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of La Cimas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match was over INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Zurdo FC throughout the match.
