If Paulinho Fenomeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulão Diniz in the 4th minute of play forced Flogo FF's goalkeeper Jan-Aage Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Jabaquara SC's Paulinho Fenomeno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan-Aage Eklund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Niyazi Derim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Kaspersen in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ørjan Moen in the 16th minute of play forced Jabaquara SC's goalkeeper Niyazi Derim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jabaquara SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kent Sakshaug was slow to take the kick. During this time Flogo FF's players had a chance to rest. When Jabaquara SC's Paulinho Fenomeno in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Flogo FF's goalie prevented a goal. In the 29thth minute of the game Paulinho Fenomeno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flogo FF's Jan-Aage Eklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Flogo FF's zone, Paulão Diniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Aage Eklund came out of the goal and Paulão Diniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute Paulão Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Aage Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Paulão Diniz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Aage Eklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 38th minute, Rok Roll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Haugsdal got free with Niyazi Derim in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ørjan Moen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niyazi Derim having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Flogo FF's goal looked a bit too open when Paulão Diniz came free, but Jan-Aage Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulão Diniz to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Flogo FF got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Haugsdal. After 56 played minutes Jabaquara SC got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho Fenomeno. Vegard Bakke's late challenge caught a Jabaquara SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vegard Bakke helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Flogo FF getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Vegard Bakke hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Flogo FF's goalkeeper Jan-Aage Eklund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulão Diniz. Jan-Aage Eklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulão Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niyazi Derim came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Flogo FF's Ørjan Moen. But to his dismay, Ørjan Moen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Niyazi Derim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Haugsdal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jabaquara SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kent Sakshaug was slow to take the kick. During this time Flogo FF's players had a chance to rest. Jan-Aage Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão Diniz in the 77th minute of the match. Paulão Diniz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Jan-Aage Eklund made a huge save. Jan-Aage Eklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulão Diniz in the 81st minute. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jabaquara SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kent Sakshaug was slow to take the kick. During this time Flogo FF's players had a chance to rest. After 87 played minutes Jabaquara SC got a freekick which was hit by Paulão Diniz. Paulão Diniz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Jan-Aage Eklund made a huge save. Niyazi Derim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Haugsdal in the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Jabaquara SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
