Cafu Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markos Renieris in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Célio da Cunha hit a great ball. After 14 played minutes Saronida FC got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Psaridis. Giuseppe Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Corrado Bosco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimitris Koubouris's late challenge caught a LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dimitris Koubouris helped the player get up and apologised. Corrado Bosco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute Markos Renieris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Edmílson de Almeida got a free kick in the 28th minute. Hudson de Godoi came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Corrado Bosco could save by the left post. Corrado Bosco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hudson de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th match minute, LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmílson de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Hudson de Godoi hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute Giannis Psaridis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Markos Renieris in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cafu Amaral saved LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF from getting behind. In the 47th minute, Tostão Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Minas Rodanakis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cafu Amaral. LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

52 minutes into the game, Rémy Peralta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saronida FC the free kick. In the 52nd minute, Rémy Peralta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Saronida FC fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Saronida FC's Markos Renieris looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 59 minutes into the game, Hudson de Godoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Corrado Bosco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Hudson de Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hudson de Godoi charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hudson de Godoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, Hudson de Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Markos Renieris's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cafu Amaral was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hudson de Godoi in the 89th minute of play forced Saronida FC's goalkeeper Corrado Bosco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
