The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Fausto Salvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Österlund in the 5th minute of play forced Halcones Azules's goalkeeper Karl-Oskar Odén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Josef Österlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Oskar Odén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Halcones Azules was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Isaio to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Oskar Odén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Erik Sundberg in the 17th minute of the match. Halcones Azules's Karl-Oskar Odén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Österlund in the 19th minute of play. When Hubert Fernström fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Preator Edikt's protests and gave Hubert Fernström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Preator Edikt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hubert Fernström to maneuver through the defense. If Josef Österlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Halcones Azules's Karl-Oskar Odén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Österlund in the 27th minute of play. Preator Edikt's Josef Österlund got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Josef Österlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 1-0 became the score in the 35th minute when Wilfredo Naelio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Naelio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reine Pettersson. Preator Edikt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfredo Naelio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Halcones Azules's Karl-Oskar Odén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Österlund in the 41st minute of play. Reine Pettersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Naelio in the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Halcones Azules's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Österlund came free, but Karl-Oskar Odén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Mogel got a throw-in 45 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fausto Salvino. Reine Pettersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Navarro in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Josef Österlund made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Halcones Azules getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Lázaro Navarro hit a great ball. Karl-Oskar Odén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Erik Sundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Preator Edikt's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hubert Fernström in the 57th minute. The corner led Preator Edikt's Hubert Fernström to fire away a dangerous shot which Karl-Oskar Odén despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Octavio Curcio's late challenge caught a Preator Edikt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octavio Curcio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th match minute, Halcones Azules was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Curcio to maneuver through the defense. Hubert Fernström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Halcones Azules defense, Josef Österlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Oskar Odén. The Halcones Azules fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Oskar Odén should have stopped the shot. Josef Österlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Karl-Oskar Odén made a huge save. Nils-Erik Sundberg struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Karl-Oskar Odén didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Preator Edikt. Reine Pettersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Naelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Reine Pettersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Naelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th match minute, Preator Edikt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvid Östensson to maneuver through the defense. Reine Pettersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Josef Österlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Josef Österlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Karl-Oskar Odén made a huge save. Karl-Oskar Odén made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Josef Österlund sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, Josef Österlund notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Halcones Azules's Karl-Oskar Odén. Karl-Oskar Odén was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Halcones Azules made a substitution. Gerardo Oriche replaced Lázaro Navarro. Halcones Azules's Ricardo Kauldi was substituted for Tadeo Eleder. After a defensive mix-up in Halcones Azules's zone, Josef Österlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Oskar Odén came out of the goal and Josef Österlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 85 minutes, Arvid Östensson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Preator Edikt and the Halcones Azules players grew even worse after the yellow card. Halcones Azules's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Nils-Erik Sundberg scored to the left of an out of position Karl-Oskar Odén, making the score, 2-3. Preator Edikt's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
