Eike Schmidt was slow to take the kick. During this time Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's Eike Schmidt to fire away a dangerous shot which Thomas Andersson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lennart Fredriksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olov Eklund's late challenge caught a Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olov Eklund helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sc Ajax Hirtenberg booed when Tallboda Gunners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Eklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 minutes, Eike Schmidt made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tallboda Gunners's Thomas Andersson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Sc Ajax Hirtenberg booed when Tallboda Gunners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Eklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute Eike Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eike Schmidt in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Andersson saved Tallboda Gunners from getting behind. 32 minutes into the match, Tallboda Gunners's Emanuel Rosen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christopher Benscheider narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 36th match minute, Sc Ajax Hirtenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Frank to maneuver through the defense. Lennart Fredriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Christopher Benscheider made a huge save. When Ernst Biörkman came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Tallboda Gunners fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernst Biörkman couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute Ernst Biörkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christopher Benscheider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well done corner resulted in Lennart Fredriksson drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's goalkeeper. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolando Ottonello in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Andersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The wind increased when Eike Schmidt made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Tallboda Gunners's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Jung came free, but Thomas Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Daniel Jung had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Andersson. Tallboda Gunners's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Jung was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Thomas Andersson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rolando Ottonello showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 58 minute of play. In the 64th minute, Lennart Fredriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eike Schmidt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Thomas Andersson made a huge save. 72 minutes into the match, Daniel Jung notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Tallboda Gunners's Thomas Andersson. Thomas Andersson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tallboda Gunners's Thomas Andersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Ottonello in the 76th minute of play. During the 77th minute of the match Olov Eklund completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Olov Eklund a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 78th match minute, Tallboda Gunners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olov Eklund to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eike Schmidt in the 84th minute of play forced Tallboda Gunners's goalkeeper Thomas Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederik Rohde hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the game, Tallboda Gunners's Ernst Biörkman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christopher Benscheider made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. When the final whistle went the supporters of Sc Ajax Hirtenberg were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Tallboda Gunners side.
