The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes, Erik Ring mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vykans Vikingar and the JK Kurevere players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Ingmar Übi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabian Söderman was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Ingmar Übi took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabian Söderman. Ragnar Paju showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Lövgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Vykans Vikingar were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after JK Kurevere's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Torbjörn Ekblom took the corner. In the 20th minute Torbjörn Ekblom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ragnar Paju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ragnar Paju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Ånger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Ekblom in the 23rd minute of play forced JK Kurevere's goalkeeper Ragnar Paju to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Ingmar Übi lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Fabian Söderman. If Endel Nuut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Sander Raudla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Boris Lövgren made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Ingmar Übi came free, but Fabian Söderman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Söderman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingmar Übi in the 58th minute of play. Fabian Söderman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
