Potentia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pedrinho Figueiredo was slow to take the kick. During this time Tribos's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Marcello Lewandowski at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of S.C. Potentia. 0-1. In the 18thth minute of the game Marcello Lewandowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C. Potentia's Naci Ünüvar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Tribos's Marcello Lewandowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Naci Ünüvar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led to Tribos's Kaan Kayaer getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of S.C. Potentia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tribos:s goal. 31 minutes into the game, Tribos's Marcello Lewandowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Naci Ünüvar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Marcello Lewandowski scored 0-4 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Naci Ünüvar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tribos's Marcello Lewandowski got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Marcello Lewandowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Naci Ünüvar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After 46 played minutes S.C. Potentia got a freekick which was hit by Godfried Barels.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcello Lewandowski to make the kick off. Naci Ünüvar was a little too slow when Marcello Lewandowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-7. In the 54th minute, Zé Augusto Paiva made a precise shot to the right of Naci Ünüvar. S.C. Potentia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Naci Ünüvar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcello Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The Tribos fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Tribos's Marcello Lewandowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Naci Ünüvar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcello Lewandowski's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Zé Augusto Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Potentia's Naci Ünüvar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcello Lewandowski in the 72nd minute of play. With a little luck, S.C. Potentia's Naci Ünüvar got control of the ball when Cristiano Faria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcello Lewandowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Naci Ünüvar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
