After a defensive mix-up in Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s zone, Renatinho Peres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Tristan came out of the goal and Renatinho Peres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th minute, Flavio Urbez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Cipriano Martino hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goal looked a bit too open when Waldir Peixoto came free, but Aurelio Tristan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustin Elija got free with Geraldo Almeida in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 13 played minutes TRAKINAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Waldir Peixoto. After 14 played minutes TRAKINAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Mello. Edgardo Kinsen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Geraldo Almeida. TRAKINAS FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 20th minute Renatinho Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Tristan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafa Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Edgardo Kinsen hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Aurelio Tristan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Peixoto in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Waldir Peixoto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelio Tristan was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Peixoto in the 29th minute of play forced Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Aurelio Tristan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgardo Kinsen hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Cipriano Martino charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cipriano Martino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Martino. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Waldir Peixoto was the one to do the kick off. Aurelio Tristan made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Renatinho Peres sent off a good shot on target. Waldir Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Tristan having to interfere. Benedicto Lobo's late challenge caught a TRAKINAS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benedicto Lobo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of TRAKINAS FC booed when Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Lobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldir Peixoto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Aurelio Tristan made a huge save. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Aurelio Tristan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ from getting a goal against them. Geraldo Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Lobo in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Benedicto Lobo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Flavio Urbez hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, TRAKINAS FC's Waldir Peixoto got a free kick in the 87th minute. Geraldo Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Lobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Waldir Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Aurelio Tristan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despite being the better team, TRAKINAS FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
