In the 18th minute, Marcello Lewandowski made a precise shot to the right of Geraldo Almeida. TRAKINAS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Edvin van der Saar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Peixoto in the 25th minute of play. Adélio Pinhal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Cristiano Faria reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Geraldo Almeida. The goal made the score 2-0. When Tribos's Marcello Lewandowski in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcello Lewandowski was the one to do the kick off. Geraldo Almeida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcello Lewandowski went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Marcello Lewandowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geraldo Almeida having to make a save. Geraldo Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
