Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juliusz J.J. in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars Teglbrænder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Sharks Constanta's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jiří Kalčík hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Jiří Kalčík's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Helmuth Duckadam firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 20th match minute, The Sharks Constanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucrețiu Berceanu to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, The Sharks Constanta's Eliodor Ştefoi got a free kick in the 21st minute. If Jiří Kalčík had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th match minute, The Sharks Constanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iordache Crețulescu to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes in the game, Jiří Kalčík fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Helmuth Duckadam having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juliusz J.J. in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lars Teglbrænder saved FC Cvikovo from getting behind. Juliusz J.J. fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Teglbrænder having to interfere. When The Sharks Constanta's Juliusz J.J. in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FC Cvikovo's Lars Teglbrænder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliusz J.J. in the 47th minute of play. The FC Cvikovo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The Sharks Constanta were winning 1-2.

Jan Vykydal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Helmuth Duckadam having to make a save. Helmuth Duckadam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Koloman Šoukal's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Cvikovo's goalkeeper Lars Teglbrænder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66thth minute of the game Juliusz J.J. who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Cvikovo's Lars Teglbrænder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiří Kalčík in the 67th minute of play forced The Sharks Constanta's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Koloman Šoukal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
