Nikola Krstović blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salim Adas having to make a save. Salim Adas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikola Krstović, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 10th match minute, De Boedo Vengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Eyague to maneuver through the defense. Salim Adas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dávid Strelec in the 19th minute. The corner led De Boedo Vengo's Fulgencio Lalla to a score. 1-1 in the 31st minute. Nikola Krstović received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Salim Adas came out and tried to block the shot, but Nikola Krstović slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 35th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Nikola Krstović kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Salim Adas. That made the score 5-1 in the 46 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gino Custódio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Salim Adas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikola Krstović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikola Krstović in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salim Adas saved De Boedo Vengo from getting behind. Nikola Krstović blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salim Adas having to make a save. Salim Adas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikola Krstović, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Hugo Fisher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Urtungo in the 60th minute of the match. Salim Adas didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Nikola Krstović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dávid Strelec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salim Adas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dávid Strelec in the 76th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Salim Adas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Nikola Krstović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benigno Jobo during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes De Boedo Vengo got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Jobo. If Nikola Krstović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AFK Petržalka fans cheered their team off the field, for while De Boedo Vengo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
