Blas Bolaños started the match with the kick off. With his leg Christovao Haces managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Palloketut's Jari Welling fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jari Welling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christovao Haces having to interfere. If Jari Welling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jari Welling blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christovao Haces having to make a save. Jari Welling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christovao Haces having to interfere. Jari Welling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Jari Welling took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Christovao Haces to make any attempt to save it. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Jari Welling sped through Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christovao Haces. Jari Welling might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christovao Haces. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jari Welling ran back to his position shaking his head. After 45 played minutes Club Dep. Soc. Rodo got a freekick which was hit by Vidal Ximeno. Christovao Haces showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jari Welling in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jari Welling to strike the kick off in the second half. Jari Welling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christovao Haces having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goal looked a bit too open when Jari Welling came free, but Christovao Haces reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jari Welling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Christovao Haces tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blas Bolaños could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Jyrki Rajamäki made a huge save. In the 72nd minute Urmas Vuorinen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christovao Haces saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Blas Bolaños took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Jyrki Rajamäki to make any attempt to save it. Christovao Haces made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jari Welling in the 91st minute of play. Palloketut walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
