Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dávid Strelec started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Christovao Haces made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikola Krstović in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute of the match, Nikola Krstović tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Christovao Haces saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 8 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goal looked a bit too open when Nikola Krstović came free, but Christovao Haces reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Angelo Elvira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFK Petržalka the free kick. In the 9th minute, Angelo Elvira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alek Justus, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With an all-out effort, AFK Petržalka's Christovao Haces threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nikola Krstović, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 14 minutes into the match, Alek Justus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christovao Haces. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alek Justus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikola Krstović in the 26th minute of play forced Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Christovao Haces to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Blas Bolaños got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AFK Petržalka's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alek Justus in the 34th minute. Alek Justus made a great header on AFK Petržalka's corner, it was just that Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Christovao Haces managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 36th minute, Nikola Krstović ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christovao Haces was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blas Bolaños to strike the kick off in the second half. Dávid Strelec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Christovao Haces tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Club Dep. Soc. Rodo defense, Nikola Krstović kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christovao Haces. The Club Dep. Soc. Rodo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christovao Haces should have stopped the shot. Christovao Haces showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dávid Strelec, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Nikola Krstović's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christovao Haces read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 74th minute, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Blas Bolaños dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Christovao Haces played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikola Krstović in the 81st minute of play. Christovao Haces showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikola Krstović in the 82nd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Dávid Strelec cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Christovao Haces was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christovao Haces showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikola Krstović in the 91st minute of the match. Christovao Haces didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nikola Krstović went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. AFK Petržalka's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
