Adhemar Gaúcho started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar Gaúcho in the 4th minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Salim Adas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gino Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Augusto Mineiro having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Guarani Futebol Clube's Dalmo Campidelis got a free kick in the 13th minute. José Augusto Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino Custódio in the 14th minute of the match. José Augusto Mineiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romeo Urtungo went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 22 minutes into the match, Guarani Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Gino Custódio came free, but José Augusto Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dalmo Campidelis hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. A collision led to Guarani Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Adhemar Gaúcho hit a great ball. De Boedo Vengo's Salim Adas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save De Boedo Vengo from getting a goal against them. Salim Adas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adhemar Gaúcho's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. The audience was convinced that Adhemar Gaúcho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salim Adas was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After 34 minutes De Boedo Vengo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Túlio Ceresso who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Guarani Futebol Clube's Túlio Ceresso to fire away a dangerous shot which Salim Adas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 41 played minutes De Boedo Vengo got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Fertus. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Gino Custódio got free with José Augusto Mineiro in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 54 minutes of play, De Boedo Vengo's Gino Custódio made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Augusto Mineiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guarani Futebol Clube were furious when Dalmo Campidelis was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of De Boedo Vengo booed when Guarani Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmo Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, De Boedo Vengo's Gino Custódio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Augusto Mineiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gino Custódio struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. José Augusto Mineiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Boedo Vengo. Tomé Mendes charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomé Mendes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Guarani Futebol Clube's Tomé Mendes got a free kick in the 65th minute. When Fulgencio Lalla fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Boedo Vengo's protests and gave Fulgencio Lalla a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute of the match, Fulgencio Lalla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but José Augusto Mineiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Fertus in the 72nd minute of play forced Guarani Futebol Clube's goalkeeper José Augusto Mineiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, De Boedo Vengo's José Augusto Mineiro threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teobaldo Fertus, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 80th minute Gino Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Augusto Mineiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gernando Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guarani Futebol Clube's Oscar Massa got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gernando Severo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 94 minutes, Gernando Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guarani Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gernando Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to De Boedo Vengo getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Teobaldo Fertus hit a great ball. The De Boedo Vengo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing De Boedo Vengo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
