When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Juan Casaviella sped through JKs Talanger's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Matthias Fransson. Claes Arenstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Juan Casaviella scored 0-4 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matthias Fransson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Juan Casaviella might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matthias Fransson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Casaviella ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee ignored JKs Talanger's protests and gave Ragnar Fribäck a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to JKs Talanger getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Matthias Fransson came out of the goal and Franco Villalobos tried to chip the ball over his head.
