In the 11th match minute, BRASIL.Sp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breno Sá to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Juan Casaviella took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ubaldo Fillol to make any attempt to save it. Baltasar Coya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber Ferreira in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute BRASIL.Sp were awarded a corner. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind BRASIL.Sp's goalkeeper Ubaldo Fillol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ubaldo Fillol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Casaviella, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
