The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hipolito Oriche's late challenge caught a Angua FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hipolito Oriche helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Dragons AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Hipolito Oriche hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the game, Timoteo Presebal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Reynaldo Jordy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reynaldo Jordy came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Angua FC's Timoteo Presebal. But to his dismay, Timoteo Presebal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Reynaldo Jordy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardo Austin went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Placido Dominix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Tobias Maiorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Jordy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 minutes, Leon Hotz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dragons AFC and the Angua FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Dragons AFC's zone, Marcos Bide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Jordy came out of the goal and Marcos Bide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bonifacio Urdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Romildo in the 72nd minute of play. Andre Agassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angua FC's Timoteo Presebal got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reynaldo Jordy was a little too slow when Timoteo Presebal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 1-6. In the 90th match minute, Angua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Maiorga to maneuver through the defense. Reynaldo Jordy was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Ricardo Austin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ricardo Austin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. When Tobias Maiorga fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Angua FC's protests and gave Tobias Maiorga a yellow card for diving instead. The Angua FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
