After a defensive mix-up in Hertha 1969's zone, Conrado Montel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tjark Ernst came out of the goal and Conrado Montel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Stripf in the 9th minute of play forced Elohay Elohim אלוהי אלוה's goalkeeper Benedicto Elodio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elohay Elohim אלוהי אלוה's Benedicto Elodio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Jäckel in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Mark Stripf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 minutes of play, Hertha 1969's Hendrik Behloch made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benedicto Elodio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benedicto Elodio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Jäckel in the 23rd minute of the match. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conrado Montel made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Elohay Elohim אלוהי אלוה's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Jäckel came free, but Benedicto Elodio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
