Willem Migneault received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Agustin Orion came out and tried to block the shot, but Willem Migneault slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. Leo Acuña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelius Bolduc having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Zelg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorian Kaestner to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Stefan Beller took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Agustin Orion to make any attempt to save it. 28 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Mónico Geller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelius Bolduc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Mónico Geller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Willem Migneault received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Agustin Orion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mónico Geller in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelius Bolduc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Zelg FC booed when San Lorenzo de Sarandi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Acuña didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Beller came free, but Agustin Orion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45thth minute of the game Stefan Beller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Agustin Orion was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mónico Geller was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's goalkeeper Aurelius Bolduc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mónico Geller. Agustin Orion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Beller in the 53rd minute of play. If Mónico Geller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Agustin Orion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willem Migneault, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Beller might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agustin Orion. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stefan Beller ran back to his position shaking his head. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Miguel Gerazan was substituted for Emanuel Palos. After a rather tough play, Zelg FC's Stefan Beller got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Leo Acuña left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Lorenzo de Sarandi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Leo Acuña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelius Bolduc having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
