Aurelius Bolduc came out of the goal and Hayden Moore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Willem Migneault might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tim Johnstone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Willem Migneault ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carl Atkins in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelius Bolduc saved Zelg FC from getting behind. After the first half Zelg FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Willem Migneault stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Atkins in the 94th minute of play forced Zelg FC's goalkeeper Aurelius Bolduc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
