Otto Klepp started the match with the kick off. In the 11th match minute, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. After 12 minutes of play, Rakkestad IF's Hans-Petter Frigstad made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Maia was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th minute, Hans-Petter Frigstad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, Hans-Petter Frigstad made a precise shot to the right of Luís Maia. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 22nd play minutes Otto Klepp shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Luís Maia and just under the crossbar into goal. After 30 minutes, Cacá Bittencourt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ and the Rakkestad IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Bittencourt. In the 31st minute, Hans-Petter Frigstad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Cacá Nascimento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rakkestad IF the free kick. In the 32nd minute, Cacá Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Klepp came free, but Luís Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rakkestad IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Runar Nergaard in the 35th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Gunnar Ophus heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Wágner Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Luís Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Ophus in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Linus Todal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiaguinho Santana went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Otto Klepp succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 58th playminute. 62 minutes into the match, Gunnar Ophus notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Luís Maia. Luís Maia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Linus Todal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiaguinho Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Otto Klepp could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Luís Maia however easily saved by the left post. After 84 played minutes Rakkestad IF got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Ophus. Luís Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Ophus in the 93rd minute of the match. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Luís Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans-Petter Frigstad in the 94th minute of play. Kjell Bergum kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Rakkestad IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
