In the 5th match minute, Senator S.A.K was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurtuluş Öğeturk to maneuver through the defense. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Luís Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Pasin in the 9th minute of play. Luís Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Nogueira in the 10th minute of play. Luís Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Edoardo Pasin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Maia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Edoardo Pasin sped through PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luís Maia. Manuel Mendonça hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the game, Edoardo Pasin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Luís Maia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gilson Saldanha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Edvin van der Sar made a huge save. Luís Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Pasin in the 31st minute of the match. After 33rd play minutes Edoardo Pasin shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Luís Maia and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 36th minute, Edoardo Pasin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Maia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Luís Maia came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Senator S.A.K's Sílvio Luís Nogueira. But to his dismay, Sílvio Luís Nogueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sílvio Luís Nogueira to make the kick off. Luís Maia was a little too slow when Sílvio Luís Nogueira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-7. Edoardo Pasin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Luís Maia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Luís Maia was a little too slow when Edoardo Pasin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-8. Kurtuluş Öğeturk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Luís Maia made a huge save. Edvin van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiaguinho Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 75 played minutes PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Elder Guedes. In the 77th minute Sílvio Luís Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Edoardo Pasin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luís Maia. The goal made the score 0-9. But to his dismay, Edoardo Pasin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sancarbey Çinuçin in the 85th minute of play forced PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goalkeeper Luís Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match Edoardo Pasin climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-11 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Luís Maia. The supporters of Senator S.A.K booed when PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cacá Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's zone, Ziemowit Mis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Maia came out of the goal and Ziemowit Mis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cacá Nascimento hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Luís Maia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edoardo Pasin in the 96th minute.
