In the 38th minute there was a penalty for ..Villa Rugby Club... Cristobal Ariando stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vítor Saraiva. 2-1. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Vítor Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque James in the 42nd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Langoni made a kick off. Anselmo Mateus's late challenge caught a Imbituba - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Mateus helped the player get up and apologised. Anselmo Mateus hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The supporters of ..Villa Rugby Club.. booed when Imbituba - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Acácio Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cristobal Ariando fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio Ortiz in the 75th minute of play forced ..Villa Rugby Club..'s goalkeeper Humberto Orland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Acácio Ortiz made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Orland. ..Villa Rugby Club..'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 86th minute, Lucas Langoni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Cesinha Vieira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Imbituba - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ..Villa Rugby Club.. the free kick.
