The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Montesclarense E.C.'s Tostão Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Caitano in the 2nd minute of play. After 5 played minutes Dolar Blue Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Jon. Wiliam Damião could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Aquiles Petrigai made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Montesclarense E.C.'s Aquiles Petrigai threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wiliam Damião, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Dolar Blue Ψ's Aquiles Petrigai got control of the ball when Marcos Figueiredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Dolar Blue Ψ getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gervasio Oton hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Wiliam Damião's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aquiles Petrigai was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Bruninho Paraense hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Tostão Cardoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roberto Caitano went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Figueiredo got free with Aquiles Petrigai in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the match, Dolar Blue Ψ's goalkeeper Aquiles Petrigai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fellipe dos Santos. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Marcos Figueiredo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Montesclarense E.C. getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jeferson Prado hit a great ball. After 39 played minutes, Dolar Blue Ψ's Roberto Caitano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tostão Cardoso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dolar Blue Ψ reached it. With a little luck, Dolar Blue Ψ's Aquiles Petrigai got control of the ball when Wiliam Damião tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aquiles Petrigai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiliam Damião in the 42nd minute of play. Tostão Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lior Mordechay, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

In the 52nd minute Zé Carlos Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Petrigai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquiles Petrigai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Figueiredo in the 54th minute of play. Marcos Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montesclarense E.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dolar Blue Ψ the free kick. Dolar Blue Ψ's Danilo Valentine quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bruninho Paraense, made in the 65th minute of the game. Tostão Cardoso made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Lior Mordechay sent off a good shot on target. Aquiles Petrigai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Carlos Tasso in the 69th minute of the match. After 75 minutes, Gervasio Oton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dolar Blue Ψ and the Montesclarense E.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gervasio Oton hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 79 minutes of play, Dolar Blue Ψ's Roberto Caitano made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tostão Cardoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! 84 minutes into the game, Montesclarense E.C.'s Zé Carlos Tasso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquiles Petrigai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. A sloppy throw-in by Bruninho Paraense in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Dolar Blue Ψ's Guido Lopez.
