Marcus Klint made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Vännäsby BF booed when Team Rocco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Andberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes Team Rocco got a freekick which was hit by Melker Sandström. Gogo Dancer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Klint read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Team Rocco got a freekick which was hit by Jack Andberg. 21 minutes into the game, Vännäsby BF's Gogo Dancer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcus Klint made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Gogo Dancer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcus Klint having to make a save. Marcus Klint took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Dancer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 31 minutes, Gogo Dancer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vännäsby BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Dancer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Vännäsby BF's Gogo Dancer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcus Klint made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After the first half Vännäsby BF were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan-Olof Hedling made a kick off. In the 51st minute Lennart Abrahamsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukács Fabiański saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lukács Fabiański took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Erik Bengtsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lukács Fabiański showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Kilstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Marcus Klint made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gogo Dancer in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gogo Dancer got free with Marcus Klint in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
