When Gogo Dancer came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Vännäsby BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gogo Dancer couldn't finish the play. In the 10th match minute, MIT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabin Eniceicu to maneuver through the defense. MIT's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Gogo Dancer scored to the left of an out of position Vlad Anghel, making the score, 1-0. The throw-in from Cai Liang Guo in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MIT's Emil Glodeanu. Lukács Fabiański made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sever Dobrescu in the 31st minute of play. Lukács Fabiański showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sever Dobrescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Lukács Fabiański showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sever Dobrescu in the 34th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Cristinel Bocaneț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukács Fabiański saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes MIT got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Bocaneț. A hard shot by Staffan Bivall from long distance, 47 minutes into the match, got Vlad Anghel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sever Dobrescu made a kick off. Vännäsby BF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Cristinel Bocaneț scored to the left of an out of position Lukács Fabiański, making the score, 1-1. Gogo Dancer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vlad Anghel having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Dancer in the 62nd minute of play forced MIT's goalkeeper Vlad Anghel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristinel Bocaneț received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lukács Fabiański came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristinel Bocaneț slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 68th minute. Vlad Anghel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Dancer, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Vännäsby BF had held the ball for most of the match.
