An unexpectedly hard shot by Buck Blue in the 46th minute of play forced Gnaget United FC's goalkeeper Niklas Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Christoffer Byström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half West Town SC were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laureano Gimenez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 65th minute, Laureano Gimenez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niklas Larsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Blue, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damián Blue got free with Niklas Larsson in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
