Alberto Pelliccioni started the match with the kick off. Cederik Huts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Mastronardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Biagio Di Matteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Savino, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Kickers United's goalkeeper Cederik Huts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Mastronardi. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Reijnders during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 15 minutes into the game, Dino Maquiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Biagio Di Matteo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 20 minutes into the game, Kickers United's Luca Savino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Biagio Di Matteo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 23 minutes into the game, Florian Bergomi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Supremacy Catania FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kickers United the free kick. Florian Bergomi kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Maquiano in the 25th minute of play forced Supremacy Catania FC's goalkeeper Biagio Di Matteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Biagio Di Matteo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Reijnders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes Supremacy Catania FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Pelliccioni. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Reijnders in the 33rd minute of play forced Supremacy Catania FC's goalkeeper Biagio Di Matteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Biagio Di Matteo came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Kickers United's Luca Savino. But to his dismay, Luca Savino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Florian Miccoli put in a rough tackle. After 40 played minutes Supremacy Catania FC got a freekick which was hit by Florian Miccoli. Biagio Di Matteo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niels Vandamme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes of play, Kickers United's Jorge Reijnders made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Biagio Di Matteo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes into the match, Luca Savino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Biagio Di Matteo. Supremacy Catania FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Savino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luca Savino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Jorge Reijnders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Di Matteo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Reijnders scored 0-6 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Biagio Di Matteo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 55th minute Luca Savino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Di Matteo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Biagio Di Matteo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Reijnders went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Dino Maquiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Biagio Di Matteo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luca Savino took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Biagio Di Matteo. Biagio Di Matteo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Biagio Di Matteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Reijnders in the 67th minute of play. Kickers United made a substitution. Dionisio Gartzi replaced Leonides Blasi. Kickers United's Lode Rouvroys was substituted for Jorge Reijnders. Kickers United's Nicolaas Van Bombergen was substituted for Niels Vandamme. A collision led to Kickers United getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Lode Rouvroys hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the game, Diego Arioli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Supremacy Catania FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kickers United the free kick. A collision led to Supremacy Catania FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Diego Arioli hit a great ball. Dino Maquiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Biagio Di Matteo made a huge save. The supporters of Kickers United booed when Supremacy Catania FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ettore Graziani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kickers United's Dino Maquiano was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 84th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 95 minutes of play, Kickers United's Lode Rouvroys made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Biagio Di Matteo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kickers United played a much better game than Supremacy Catania FC and deserved their victory. The Supremacy Catania FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
