With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Diehl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute, Joaquín Patron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Lacunza in the 13th minute of play forced Melbourne 007's goalkeeper Thomas Diehl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Erasmo Lacunza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Joshua Mccormick hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daud Gazale in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Diehl saved Melbourne 007 from getting behind. Joaquín Patron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Thomas Diehl made a huge save. Thomas Diehl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Lacunza in the 69th minute of play. After 71 minutes of play, CSD Concepción's Daud Gazale made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Diehl was left in no man's land by his defense there! CSD Concepción made a substitution. Victoriano Sierra replaced Daud Gazale. Thomas Diehl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Ortega in the 76th minute of play. Melbourne 007's Thomas Diehl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Melbourne 007 from getting a goal against them. After 89 minutes, Chico Ortega made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Melbourne 007's Thomas Diehl tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thomas Diehl was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Chico Ortega showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 93 minute of play. Joaquín Patron hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. CSD Concepción's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
