If Yoppie Duaramuri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 4th match minute, BlueLionesse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zhuang Quan to maneuver through the defense. If Cristinel Nicodim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Cristinel Nicodim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Nicodim in the 13th minute of play forced Bandung Tigers's goalkeeper Hatta Arnawa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Mailat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hatta Arnawa having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bandung Tigers's Harseno Kartasapoetra got a free kick in the 18th minute. Hatta Arnawa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amedeo Melis in the 22nd minute. In the 30th match minute, Bandung Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaan Zoet to maneuver through the defense. If Yoppie Duaramuri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Bandung Tigers's Hatta Arnawa got control of the ball when Amedeo Melis tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Bandung Tigers getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Kaan Zoet hit a great ball. Hatta Arnawa was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Cristinel Nicodim capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristinel Nicodim really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Zhuang Quan hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Hatta Arnawa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristinel Nicodim in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristinel Nicodim made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Melis in the 59th minute of play forced Bandung Tigers's goalkeeper Hatta Arnawa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bandung Tigers's Hatta Arnawa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Melis in the 61st minute of play. In the 61st minute Amedeo Melis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hatta Arnawa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximilian-Michael Vennegoor Of Hesselink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bandung Tigers were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after BlueLionesse's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jem Butt took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Markus Husodo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Amedeo Melis's late challenge caught a Bandung Tigers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amedeo Melis helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yoppie Duaramuri got free with Jonas Hermansson in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Bandung Tigers defense, Cristinel Nicodim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hatta Arnawa. The Bandung Tigers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hatta Arnawa should have stopped the shot. Hatta Arnawa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Mailat, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, BlueLionesse's goalkeeper Jonas Hermansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Markus Husodo. Hatta Arnawa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Nicodim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. BlueLionesse had played much better football throughout.
