If Yoppie Duaramuri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juan Pedro Owen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yoppie Duaramuri, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yoppie Duaramuri in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Pedro Owen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Bandung Tigers fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Bandung Tigers's Yoppie Duaramuri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 9 minutes into the match, Yoppie Duaramuri notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of CRUZ DEL SUR's Juan Pedro Owen. Juan Pedro Owen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CRUZ DEL SUR's Juan Pedro Owen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yoppie Duaramuri in the 13th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Yoppie Duaramuri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bandung Tigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Yoppie Duaramuri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Pedro Owen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Bandung Tigers defense, Juan María Maeztu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hatta Arnawa. The Bandung Tigers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hatta Arnawa should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoppie Duaramuri in the 22nd minute of play forced CRUZ DEL SUR's goalkeeper Juan Pedro Owen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes, Juan María Maeztu made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Bandung Tigers's Hatta Arnawa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the game, Baba Turan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bandung Tigers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CRUZ DEL SUR the free kick. Baba Turan hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the game, Yoppie Duaramuri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Juan Pedro Owen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 39 minutes of play, Bandung Tigers's Yoppie Duaramuri made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Pedro Owen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 46 minutes into the match, Bandung Tigers's goalkeeper Hatta Arnawa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdul Esquerra. 47 minutes into the match, Bandung Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Juan María Maeztu came free, but Hatta Arnawa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The CRUZ DEL SUR players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bandung Tigers were winning 2-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yoppie Duaramuri was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Yoppie Duaramuri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Pedro Owen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Pedro Owen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yoppie Duaramuri in the 55th minute. The supporters of CRUZ DEL SUR booed when Bandung Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baba Turan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Juan María Maeztu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hatta Arnawa. Bandung Tigers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan María Maeztu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. With his leg Juan Pedro Owen managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Bandung Tigers's Yoppie Duaramuri fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Juan Pedro Owen made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Yoppie Duaramuri sent off a good shot on target. Lorenzo Mella charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lorenzo Mella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yoppie Duaramuri might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Pedro Owen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yoppie Duaramuri ran back to his position shaking his head. Yoppie Duaramuri succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-5 in the 72nd playminute. 74 minutes into the game, Yoppie Duaramuri recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juan Pedro Owen. Yoppie Duaramuri showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-6. Baba Turan hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Markus Husodo's late challenge caught a CRUZ DEL SUR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Markus Husodo helped the player get up and apologised. Juan María Maeztu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Hatta Arnawa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bandung Tigers had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
