Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximiliano Omar in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Erasto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armando Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute of the match Justo Licerio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gláuber Nascimento showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sergio Birjaio hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Ramiro Erasto was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Marcelo Mangueira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcelo Mangueira really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Pabla during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Los Muchachos del 86 getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Joel Pabla hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Maximiliano Omar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Ramiro Erasto stood somewhat misplaced when Marcelo Mangueira came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 26 minute. In the 28th match minute, Brazil Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. Valdo de Almeida walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Maximiliano Omar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Mangueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramiro Erasto having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Maximiliano Omar put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ramiro Erasto.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximiliano Omar to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Maximiliano Omar sped through Los Muchachos del 86's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ramiro Erasto. Zé Paulo Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Brazil Academy's zone, Erubiel Presebal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gláuber Nascimento came out of the goal and Erubiel Presebal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, Brazil Academy's Maximiliano Omar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramiro Erasto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ramiro Erasto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Mangueira's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute Maximiliano Omar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Erasto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brazil Academy's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
