In the 13thth minute of the game Martin Asier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Panchera's Santo Dimo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Leonardo Poz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of La Panchera's Santo Dimo. Santo Dimo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emiliano Faro kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Obeko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iker Cristos. The corner led to La Panchera's Iker Cristos getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 25th minute, Iker Cristos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Martin Asier notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of La Panchera's Santo Dimo. Santo Dimo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Godfredo Ascencio kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Leones FC's Aureliano Obeko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trendafil Katúrov in the 33rd minute of play. Santo Dimo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Sabin in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Poz to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anacleto Harri in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aureliano Obeko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Godfredo Ascencio's late challenge caught a La Panchera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Ascencio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Godfredo Ascencio got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 47 minutes into the game, Javier Richie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leones FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Panchera the free kick. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iker Cristos made a kick off. In the 63rd minute Leonardo Poz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Dimo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santo Dimo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Poz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Martin Asier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santo Dimo was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. 65 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Trendafil Katúrov came free, but Aureliano Obeko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Leones FC booed when La Panchera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Atarrabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Asier got free with Santo Dimo in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute, Iker Cristos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Panchera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Aureliano Obeko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Lehen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The La Panchera manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Leones FC to win.
