The audience thought a goal was coming when C.J. 吕布 got free with Safet Hands in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Safet Hands made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when C.J. 吕布 sent off a good shot on target. Safet Hands showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Urtun in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Evelio Urtun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Safet Hands saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Safet Hands had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by C.J. 吕布. Safet Hands took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benny Koks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benny Koks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Safet Hands made a huge save. In the 29th minute, ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s Hector Hanmark seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hector Hanmark the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hector Hanmark had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! In the 32nd minute Juan Lebron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Giammaria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Juan Lebron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelio Giammaria was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Safet Hands showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Urtun in the 35th minute of the match. Aurelio Giammaria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Måns Sandberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Måns Sandberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Giammaria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Lebron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aurelio Giammaria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Måns Sandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Huang Fei Ting made a precise shot to the right of Aurelio Giammaria. ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by De-Falco Champion during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Norrlands Athen booed when ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. De-Falco Champion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Giammaria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calle Bergfelt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Filcho Slivkov was slow to take the kick. During this time Norrlands Athen's players had a chance to rest. Norrlands Athen's Qian Zhen Sheng was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aurelio Giammaria in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The throw-in from Jacinto da Silveira in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s Mariusz Truskovskiy.
