Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Celestino Toro got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Libardo Fuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Oidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Anier Oidor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Libardo Fuentes. 14 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Libardo Fuentes came free, but Anier Oidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Celestino Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Peña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Peña hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Alberto Pineda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Club Deportivo Águila's Libardo Fuentes in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Lorenzo's goalie prevented a goal. Ricardo Peña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Bide in the 25th minute of play. After 26 minutes, Arnaldo Bide made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Club Deportivo Águila's Ricardo Peña tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Libardo Fuentes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Anier Oidor 29 minutes into the match. When Camilo Galeas fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportivo Águila's protests and gave Camilo Galeas a yellow card for diving instead. Arnaldo Bide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Peña having to interfere. If Arnaldo Bide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Balendin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ricardo Peña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Cipriano Abad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47thth minute of the game Libardo Fuentes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Lorenzo's Anier Oidor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Club Deportivo Águila players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. San Lorenzo were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Libardo Fuentes to strike the kick off in the second half. Libardo Fuentes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Peña didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Balendin went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Celestino Toro took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Ricardo Peña to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Club Deportivo Águila getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Mario Leguizamon hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmiro Tabor got free with Ricardo Peña in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Delmiro Tabor succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 72nd playminute. Alberto Pineda struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Anier Oidor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportivo Águila. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Águila's zone, Arnaldo Bide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Peña came out of the goal and Arnaldo Bide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Libardo Fuentes in the 78th minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Anier Oidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes of play, San Lorenzo's Celestino Toro made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Peña was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Libardo Fuentes came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Club Deportivo Águila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Libardo Fuentes couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Libardo Fuentes in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anier Oidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ricardo Peña came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by San Lorenzo's Delmiro Tabor. But to his dismay, Delmiro Tabor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. 89 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Bide cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Ricardo Peña was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Libardo Fuentes in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anier Oidor saved San Lorenzo from getting behind. 94 minutes into the game, San Lorenzo's Delmiro Tabor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Peña made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-9. The Club Deportivo Águila fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. San Lorenzo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
