Dominik Wögerbauer started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Elias Freire's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Barten was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Lanzenkirchen defense, 吕震强 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Barten. The Lanzenkirchen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Barten should have stopped the shot. 12 minutes into the match, Elias Freire notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Lanzenkirchen's Luis Barten. Luis Barten was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 吕震强 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Luis Barten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Klaus Roth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th match minute, Motta Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilherme Arana to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Zeca Esteves notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Lanzenkirchen's Luis Barten. Luis Barten was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 37 minutes, Elias Freire made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Arno Steffens's late challenge caught a Motta Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Haag in the 47th minute of play forced Motta Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Juninho Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juninho Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klaus Roth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Klaus Roth got free in front of the goal in the 48th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Juninho Freire was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Freire was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Zeca Esteves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Motta Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Zeca Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. With an all-out effort, Motta Futebol Clube's Luis Barten threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zeca de Azevedo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Zeca de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 played minutes Zeca de Azevedo could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-8 into the left cross. In the 84th minute Dominik Wögerbauer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juninho Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guilherme Arana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lanzenkirchen's goalkeeper Luis Barten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 吕震强 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle sounded Motta Futebol Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lanzenkirchen.
