Estrela Solitária's Anselmi Saksinen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico França in the 6th minute of play. The Estrela Solitária fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Karim Bado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Túlio Maravilha, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Karim Bado made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Túlio Maravilha sent off a good shot on target. Estrela Solitária were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Meng Ran took the corner. Estrela Solitária's Meng Ran was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Karim Bado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Anselmi Saksinen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico França in the 26th minute of play. Estrela Solitária's Anselmi Saksinen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiori Cerezo in the 28th minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match Estrela Solitária got a corner. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Meng Ran ran over to the corner to take the kick. Anselmi Saksinen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico França, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Estrela Solitária's attentive Vilhelm Norberg managed to snatch the ball when Ke Chang Lin made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. Frederico França hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Karim Bado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Rio Verde F.C CIMZ from getting a goal against them. When Fiori Cerezo fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's protests and gave Fiori Cerezo a yellow card for diving instead. Túlio Maravilha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karim Bado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. In the 48th minute Frederico França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmi Saksinen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Karim Bado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruud Gullit in the 53rd minute of play. Karim Bado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Túlio Maravilha's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Túlio Maravilha put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Karim Bado. Karim Bado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Túlio Maravilha in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Túlio Maravilha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karim Bado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Túlio Maravilha's late challenge caught a Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Túlio Maravilha helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Estrela Solitária's Túlio Maravilha got a free kick in the 65th minute. Anselmi Saksinen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruud Gullit in the 82nd minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Karim Bado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ made a substitution. Renan Tepedino replaced Sidnei Sanches. Túlio Maravilha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karim Bado having to make a save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Estrela Solitária had played much better football throughout.
