Gustaf Högström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Eguiluz having to interfere. Nereo Bieito hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. When Otto Jonasson came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Newcastle United F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otto Jonasson couldn't finish the play. Niklas Kvalfält had great luck who in the 68thth minute grab hold of the ball when Fernando Santo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Otto Jonasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Egil Lindman during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Orlondon in the 91st minute of play forced Newcastle United F.C.'s goalkeeper Niklas Kvalfält to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernán-Adrián Crespo scored 4-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niklas Kvalfält, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Newcastle United F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
