But to his dismay, Jeronimo Avaria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Madeo Klein's late challenge caught a I ritirandi di Canaus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Madeo Klein helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Capo de Provincia's Madeo Klein got a free kick in the 8th minute. When I ritirandi di Canaus's Cesare Chizzo in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Capo de Provincia's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to I ritirandi di Canaus getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Bruno Falasca hit a great ball. Jeronimo Avaria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniele Raniolo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Raúlo Davenport took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesare Chizzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19thth minute of the game Cesare Chizzo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capo de Provincia's Raúlo Davenport was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniele Raniolo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Avaria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game was made by Cosimo Serra with Amola Patacca as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Jeronimo Avaria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capo de Provincia's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeronimo Avaria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniele Raniolo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesare Chizzo in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raúlo Davenport prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniele Raniolo made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Jeronimo Avaria sent off a good shot on target. Cesare Chizzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cesare Chizzo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jeronimo Avaria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Daniele Raniolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute Cesare Chizzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúlo Davenport saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The long shot by Dino De Gregorio in the 67th minute really tested Raúlo Davenport's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Daniele Raniolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Avaria in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match Capo de Provincia got a corner. I ritirandi di Canaus's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Epifanío Mejia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Madeo Klein got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of I ritirandi di Canaus booed when Capo de Provincia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Madeo Klein didn't get a good kick on the ball. Capo de Provincia's Epifanío Mejia got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes in the game Cosimo Serra did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Amola Patacca.
