Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jeronimo Avaria took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Avaria in the 4th minute of play forced Tio Cosme FC's goalkeeper Teodor Stýblo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Natalio Magdaleno fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tio Cosme FC's protests and gave Natalio Magdaleno a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Capo de Provincia booed when Tio Cosme FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Magdaleno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raúlo Davenport made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ataman Taşcıoğlu in the 11th minute. If Manuel Dorrego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raúlo Davenport made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Ataman Taşcıoğlu sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Capo de Provincia booed when Tio Cosme FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Isaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Epifanío Mejia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodor Stýblo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Avaria in the 21st minute of the match. Epifanío Mejia struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Teodor Stýblo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capo de Provincia. In the 30th minute, Jimeno Montalva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raúlo Davenport made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Isaio in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute Epifanío Mejia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodor Stýblo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raúlo Davenport showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Dorrego in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ataman Taşcıoğlu was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Tio Cosme FC got a freekick which was hit by Ataman Taşcıoğlu. In the 56thth minute of the game Jeronimo Avaria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tio Cosme FC's Teodor Stýblo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ernesto Daniel Paillao kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Balendín Contreras was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 72 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, one of Capo de Provincia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Capo de Provincia. If Epifanío Mejia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epifanío Mejia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodor Stýblo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Manuel Dorrego managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tio Cosme FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Dorrego was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raúlo Davenport breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Santo Isaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Dorrego took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raúlo Davenport. Raúlo Davenport dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Manuel Dorrego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Capo de Provincia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
