In the 2nd minute, Francisc Stanca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. F.C. YKE's Helmuth Duckadam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Karp in the 3rd minute of play. Fryderyk Huk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avram Chiru in the 13th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, White Star Troopers's Adam Proca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Helmuth Duckadam made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 22nd match minute, F.C. YKE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Lunca to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the game, Daniel Mentis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. White Star Troopers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. YKE the free kick. Daniel Mentis kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Proca, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Fryderyk Huk made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Nicolae Stanciu sent off a good shot on target. Helmuth Duckadam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sylwester Luty in the 33rd minute of the match. Avram Chiru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Fryderyk Huk made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Karp in the 37th minute of play forced F.C. YKE's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rareș Agulescu hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Fryderyk Huk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avram Chiru in the 46th minute of the match.

F.C. YKE's Darius Olaru was substituted for Nicolae Stanciu. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. YKE's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Daniel Mentis scored to the left of an out of position Helmuth Duckadam, making the score, 0-3. In the 83rd match minute, White Star Troopers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludomir Kanczuszewski to maneuver through the defense. Fryderyk Huk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avram Chiru in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to White Star Troopers getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Iwo Lepper hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, White Star Troopers's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Oblemenco came free, but Fryderyk Huk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Majusiak during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, White Star Troopers's Daniel Majusiak got a free kick in the 91st minute. The audience was convinced that Avram Chiru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fryderyk Huk was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
