F.C. YKE's Helmuth Duckadam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Elizardo in the 4th minute of play. With a little luck, Boulogne F.C.'s Teodosio Macerio got control of the ball when Marin Zbuchea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Boulogne F.C.'s Teodosio Macerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Zbuchea in the 11th minute of play. Teodosio Macerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Şimoc in the 12th minute of play. In the 19th minute Samuel Mercurio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmuth Duckadam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Oblemenco came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Teodosio Macerio could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Victorino Garci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boulogne F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Garci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Helmuth Duckadam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the game, Ionică Ike was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. YKE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boulogne F.C. the free kick. In the 30th minute, Ionică Ike hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 played minutes Boulogne F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Moises Cai. With an all-out effort, F.C. YKE's Teodosio Macerio threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marin Zbuchea, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 34th minute F.C. YKE were awarded a corner. Edgar Oblemenco went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Edgar Oblemenco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Boulogne F.C.'s Teodosio Macerio did a great save. In the 41st play minute Virgil Macrea came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Teodosio Macerio. 1-0. Boulogne F.C.'s Teodosio Macerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Boulogne F.C. from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Igor Elizardo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Cazimir Puișoru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodosio Macerio came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. YKE's Marin Zbuchea. But to his dismay, Marin Zbuchea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 76th minute, Emanuel Şimoc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodosio Macerio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 80 minutes into the match, Emanuel Şimoc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teodosio Macerio. Boulogne F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Şimoc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. 89 minutes into the match, Boulogne F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Şimoc came free, but Teodosio Macerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Garci in the 93rd minute of play forced F.C. YKE's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Boulogne F.C.'s Maximino Blanco got a free kick in the 95th minute.
