Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Adam Proca made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Adam Proca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmuth Duckadam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute of the match White Star Troopers got a corner. F.C. YKE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adam Proca ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Ziemowit Budrewicz heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Fryderyk Huk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Zbuchea in the 6th minute of play. Nicolae Boboc kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. F.C. YKE's Helmuth Duckadam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. YKE from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Tadeusz Buda managed to get in a good position for a shot. White Star Troopers's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeusz Buda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Helmuth Duckadam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 14 played minutes F.C. YKE got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Buzea. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Proca in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helmuth Duckadam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Proca in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Helmuth Duckadam saved F.C. YKE from getting behind. Fryderyk Huk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marin Zbuchea's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, White Star Troopers's Tadeusz Buda got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind White Star Troopers's goalkeeper Fryderyk Huk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Pavel Soare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucjan Kaczorowski's late challenge caught a F.C. YKE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucjan Kaczorowski helped the player get up and apologised. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by F.C. YKE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adam Proca was slow to take the kick. During this time White Star Troopers's players had a chance to rest. The crowd rose to their feet as Sylwester Luty kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Helmuth Duckadam. That made the score 1-0 in the 39 minute of play. When Cazimir Puișoru fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. YKE's protests and gave Cazimir Puișoru a yellow card for diving instead. Cazimir Puișoru hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, F.C. YKE's Nicolae Boboc got a free kick in the 44th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marin Zbuchea made a kick off. Pavel Soare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Fryderyk Huk made a huge save. The supporters of F.C. YKE booed when White Star Troopers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeusz Buda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeusz Buda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fryderyk Huk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Oblemenco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, White Star Troopers's Tadeusz Buda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Helmuth Duckadam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sylwester Luty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmuth Duckadam having to interfere. Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Proca, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Edgar Oblemenco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. F.C. YKE's Helmuth Duckadam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Proca in the 75th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Edgar Oblemenco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. White Star Troopers's Norbert Karp was substituted for Sylwester Luty. The supporters of White Star Troopers booed when F.C. YKE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Oblemenco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeusz Buda, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 91 played minutes White Star Troopers got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Karp. Helmuth Duckadam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziemowit Budrewicz in the 95th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
