A collision led to KS Blizne getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Stanislaw Zahemski hit a great ball. In the 3rd minute of the match, Ike Schmeichel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Andrzej Majusiak was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 6 minutes into the match, Tomasz Dudzik notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of F.C. YKE's Helmuth Duckadam. Helmuth Duckadam was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 12 minutes into the match, F.C. YKE's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Rudy came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Tomasz Dudzik put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Helmuth Duckadam. Helmuth Duckadam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Rudy in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomasz Dudzik in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Helmuth Duckadam saved F.C. YKE from getting behind. Emanuel Şimoc kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. F.C. YKE's Marin Zbuchea got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Helmuth Duckadam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Doe in the 24th minute of play. Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gazanfer Ülkümen, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Rareș Agulescu tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Helmuth Duckadam. Helmuth Duckadam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomasz Dudzik in the 31st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as F.C. YKE's Edgar Oblemenco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andrzej Majusiak. That made the score 1-3 after 32 minutes of play. F.C. YKE's Helmuth Duckadam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Doe in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Zbuchea in the 41st minute of play forced KS Blizne's goalkeeper Andrzej Majusiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Edgar Oblemenco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gazanfer Ülkümen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Helmuth Duckadam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Cazimir Puișoru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. YKE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KS Blizne the free kick. Cazimir Puișoru hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Gazanfer Ülkümen took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Helmuth Duckadam. Helmuth Duckadam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomasz Dudzik made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Gazanfer Ülkümen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Helmuth Duckadam. Gazanfer Ülkümen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Rudy in the 54th minute of play forced F.C. YKE's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomasz Dudzik got free with Helmuth Duckadam in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the match, F.C. YKE's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomasz Dudzik.
