Vasile Hâncu hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Călin Izvoranu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johannes Bergendahl. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, David Tâbârnă managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but David Tâbârnă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Börje Magnusson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Călin Izvoranu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Bergendahl in the 24th minute of play. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Călin Izvoranu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save FC PIETROSUL -MM- from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Vasile Hâncu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Vasile Hâncu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Börje Magnusson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute of the match, Göran Skröder got a very nice opportunity to score, but Călin Izvoranu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Vasile Hâncu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vasile Hâncu got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 46 played minutes FC PIETROSUL -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Vasile Hâncu. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Marius Turcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute Alexander Fristedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Izvoranu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Călin Izvoranu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Bergendahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. During the 66th minute of the match Marius Turcu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marius Turcu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 67 played minutes FC PIETROSUL -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Marius Turcu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Österberg in the 68th minute of play forced FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Călin Izvoranu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Börje Magnusson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dorin Busuioceanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 71 minute of play. Călin Izvoranu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Bergendahl in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Vlad Brezoi got a free kick in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Warberg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dorin Busuioceanu came free, but Börje Magnusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johannes Bergendahl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Călin Izvoranu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sören Hermansson was slow to take the kick. During this time Warberg FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Warberg FC's corner Sören Hermansson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Călin Izvoranu quite easily take care of the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
